We had a great Fall 2011 Season.  Our programs have grown 40% over the last season and we expect to continue that growth moving forward.  We find more and more parents contacting our organization because of the committed focus on soccer development.  The Developmental and Jr. Premier programs are coached by the CFK professional staff on a daily basis.  There is a structured curriculum that is put in place and implemented in all training sessions.  We encourage you all to help promote the growth of our club to friends, schoolmates and people in your community.

Central Florida Kraze/Krush is very proud of its U5 thru U10 youth soccer program, providing young athletes with additional, more consistent opportunities to train with soccer professionals and to prepare for the next level of play.  All players will still have the option of participating in the traditional recreation program at the U5 – U19 age groups.  The Developmental and Junior Premier Programs are for the players looking for more of a challenge, higher level of training and a more competitive development environment.

The U5 thru U10 Age Groups are broken into TWO (2) Programs:

DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAM: U5 - U8 AGE GROUP

The Developmental Program is specifically designed to introduce U5-U8 players into the game through creative and fun games that rarely exclude players for competition. All players at this age group will be given a strong foundation in skill and game knowledge. Sessions are offered at CFK leased facilities under the direction of the CFK professional coaches.  The U5 & U6 groups will have one practice day and one game day per week.  The U7 & U8 groups will have two practice days and one game day per week.  Players remain engaged and focused on learning the skills and techniques under the disguise of the fun, creative, and developmentally appropriate activities. Players play in-house competition on Friday evenings and matches are played to further foster player development under the direction of the professional staff. Players should wear proper soccer equipment (shin guards, soccer socks, and if possible soccer specific shoes) and CFK training gear.  All players are also required to bring a size 3 ball.

Training sessions will begin the week of February 21^st. We have made a few changes to the program to accommodate the geographic growth in our organization, by expanding the developmental program to include additional sites listed below.   When registering, you may choose the preferred training and game site that will best accommodates your family.

Here are the following sites and training times/days for U5-U6 Players:

There will be some Fridays when we will combine sites to play games against each other.  It is important that coaches from each site have the opportunity to see all players in the program.  We will be capping the number of players per site based on the number of coaches and field space.  Therefore, it is imperative for everyone to sign up ASAP.                            

Elite Program:

This program focuses on young players from the ages of U5 – U8 that are capable of additional training.  These players are selected by the CFK staff to train in a more advanced group settings for an additional cost to their seasonal fees.  

JUNIOR PREMIER PROGRAM: U9 - U10 AGE GROUP

The program focuses on preparing U9-U10 players for the full premier program. Players are placed into tiered teams that are coached by CFK professional staff.  The teams practice two times per week and have weekend games.  The teams will compete in the local GCF league and get the opportunity to experience two to three tournaments per season.  The program intends to produce independent thinkers, confident and capable in the basic technical and mental skills of the game. It is a great way to introduce a child unfamiliar with soccer to the sport or supplement the training of a recreational player. Activities will concentrate on technique and fun while sessions are group oriented. Training sessions are one hour in duration and players should wear proper soccer equipment (shin guards, soccer socks, and if possible soccer specific shoes), CFK training gear and bring a size 3 ball.
The overall philosophy of the program is to develop the players first.  Everything that we do is geared to improving the player’s technical ability, understanding of developmentally appropriate tactical situations and to learn to participate on a team.

The evaluation process to be placed on a team will begin Feb 7th thru to Feb 16th, 2012. Practice will begin February 21, 2012.
